Serene Song
By sarahh
26 March 2008

Shove an apple in my mouth and throw me to the ground.

My cuts on my wrist and the smoke in my mouth is not what’s

Really going on. The music rings in your ears like the pheromones

That make my animals cry. Anger or hatred, they are not in supply, so

Throw me to the pavement and drive your car away. Blast your

Radio that makes you this way. If only you could hear my words,

If only you could listen. The doctor was right, and the only way

That I know its night is stars above that sing our tune, that show the

Love that we once knew. I wish the song to your ears, the smile to

Your mouth and the tears to your eyes. The road is bitter but I felt

Colder, the touch is serene. Your touch is rough and hard, and it will

Never come clean.
