Mortal Bliss

Who really knows our mortal fate.

We Mortals are born with an expiry date.
Our creed finally withers and dies.
We cannot control our imprinted bar coding.
We cannot delay or deceive fate.
We have to adhere to the rules of the Universe.
Eventually we have to say goodbye!

While on our Mortal journey we meet friend and foe alike.
Some we tend to treasure while others we despise.
With some, we walk the walk.
With others, we talk the talk.
Some end up broken battered and abused.
Others thrive to unforeseen heights.

We cannot avoid contact nor confrontation alike.
We shall not forfeit our Worldly plight.
When we depart, we have the thrill and delight.
Of our Universal journey in our Immortal souls.

pleasant view of dying, that eternal mystery. Well said and warmly done. Great title.

Once again, thank you very much.
The manual on the last journey is out of print & we are all in the dark.
