Girls night in

Husband out , a girls night in
But how to spend the time
An evening of indulgence
Will go down super fine
 
Painting toes and fingers
Or conditioning of hair
Shaving hairy armpits
Or waxing under there
 
That's what they do in movies
But we know it's not true
This what an Essex girl
At home is sure to do
 
Stock up well on biscuits,
chocolates, crisps and wine
Turn the heating up on full
Don't bath cos dirt is fine
 
Start with picking toenails
And possibly your skin
Clean your ears with cotton buds
Then chuck em in the bin
 
When you feel relaxed enough
 And guzzled half the drink
That is when you're comfortable
And now your mind can think
 
Always light some candles
For ambiance and calm
And let those dreams take hold of you
Think muscles, and think charm
 
Music helps create the mood
But chocolate's also good
Now hold that thought , switch on the iron
And do what women should!!!!!

Hollywood is nuts... Or do I hang out with women too much? For I think even your description is too romantic. As far as I know, many spend it with the TV's remote in their hand and a cat upon their lap. 
Or maybe that's just when I'm around? :?

True, and I don't even own an iron or a board but my friends think I'm weird. For me it's wine , chocolate, tv or writing but tonight I have a couple of girly friends coming over and we will be talking shit and getting drunk but I do that most nights anyway. 
No cats for me and I've shut the dog in the kitchen cos he drools!

Picking toe nails - too romantic? Crikey, Fledermaus - I think you do hang with the wrong type of woman! :grin

Was as good as planned thanks Phil just nursing the head this morning, 
As to why us ladies need the heating up: 
1. Because we do not get enough cuddles 
2. Because of an innate need for warmth inorder to make sure our young are warm and safe, men have the opposite because they need to face the cold when they go hunting. 
3. Because we like to annoy our men and enjoy watching them sigh and attempt to turn down the thermostat whenever they come in from work. 
4. because we like big bills and hate to have to wear layers of cardigans when we are indoors. 
5. Because we secrettly want to see our husbands wander round the house in their pants but we will never admit to that.
