Love should be no reasons,
just like the flowers in Spring,
the pearl in the Sea;
If you looked for a cause,
watch the leafs in Falls,
the moon in the Ether.
It merely a beautiful thing,
where the water meets other waters,
like the sound of rain!

I tell my child who is 5, there is only one qualification he needs to receive my love - he just has to exist. Some typos? ...leafs => leaves ? / It merely a... => It merely is a.... ? I am pleased as well you like the poem. Lau | Written by Fledermaus (3238 comments posted) 28th March 2008 | | Something many might still have to learn. Nice poem, although I'm not too sure about the rhythm. Have to admit though that I usually pay too much attention to syllable count. |
