Not a poet myself Written by brickle (10 comments posted) 30th March 2008 |
But I don't think any poet or reader of poetry needs to be greatly affected by this piece of rubbish written in unintelligible language which makes no logical sense. brickle

You have a point, wt - to a point. There are some awful poems on here. (Mine included - but then I make no claims to poetry) Perhaps you should do a little more reviewing and make your feelings clearly specific. There are some good poems and some truely excellent pieces too. You seem to be tarring all poets/poems here with the same brush - a lazy opinion, and incorrect. As for this piece: some interesting lines, but on the whole, the words seem petulent, immature and self consciously clever. Not a triumph. 'Vile mediocrity?' -worse. Phil |

A Double Bluff? Written by Mr_E_Writer (217 comments posted) 30th March 2008 |
Have you posted a bilious, bitchy poem in order to show us what a "Pool of vomit" can look like? If this were in response to recent events in the poetry forum, I'd say three steps backwards and none forward. No rythmn, vision or clarity, I'm afraid. Sorry. Eric.

Ah, sorry, misread - my apologies. If you look through the poetry records there are a few written in the way I interpreted, I thought it was another one of those. Is there an embarrassed smilie thing? Now if only we could edit our reviews! Phil |

yes old timer there is a smile not embarrassed though certainly wide enough to know that you can't hide from what the line refrains |

A poem or a cryptic display of insults? This kind of stuff just gets me paranoid but maybe that is the intention |

funny how insults to many are like a blessing in disguise paranoia aside I enjoyed the ride (ie one of your poems) serious not cryptic but not too sadistic only the poet's repast can filter rubbish from elses who dream "publish" and tell the first from the last understand if you may speak only to say thanks for the hint I'm really aghast |

I can not but see this is a load of non sense read by a fly who can write A would be master piece on the back of a stamp But makes know sense be cause It only reeds hindi where as I speek english. Yet I can see that it is a fly who would gladly ex-change his warm farts for cold, calculating brains.
