Tolly The Tortoise

Wake up Tolly said Paul

It is time to open your eyes

You have been asleep far too long

Its time to venture outside

I have bought you an apple and some lettice

As I know it is your favourite dish

Just take one bite at a time

But please do not eat my fish

Tolly moves along the lawn very slowly

With his head reached up so high

He explores the rose garden

And admires the deep blue sky

oh what a lovely poem. I used to have a tortoise many years ago and it brings back happy memories. It has been beautifully written. I like your style of writing. :)
