I have had a glass or two but have spent 10 minutes trying to remember how to spell "pour" but even that looks wrong. Either I should stop drinking or get an education!

I have a love, it warms my veins
If comforts all that's me
And every glass I pour myself
I do it with such glee

The soothing taste, fermented grape
with overtones of oak
I know indulgence in no good
But fill me till I croak

The numbness that distills my mind
Makes everything feel smooth
And while my liver works too hard
My brain it seems to soothe

An aid to sleep ,it keeps me calm
And through it I find joy
So raise your glass and sing with me
 ferkken ell m pissd ahoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never has a lyrical ballad suddenly become a boisterous sea shanty - lovely.

I only drink to drown my lot,
When I'm sad and blue,
I also drink to socialise
And when I'm glad, it's true.
I only ever drink with friends,
Or strangers, or myself,
And when I know I've hit rock bottom
I reach for the top shelf.

Friends, I know they mean well,
Telling me of days I've missed.
They ask me why I drink so much;
Well if you don't, you don't get pissed.

Cheers, Paula (Paula one for me; ho, ho, uurgh, never mind)
