My Dearest
By sarahh
02 April 2008
My Dearest.
Love me like you do and hold me tight.
Just the two of us and nobody else.
Like famous duets we sing in key
that nobody can come in between.
The world and the time pass by us
like rainy weather outside, and the
seasons changing and show there shine
but I can see the gleam of the sun
in your mirror eyes, that seem to shimmer.
Watching each other get older
and growing up into what we knew
we would become. A pair of doves
in a over grown garden where we live.
Blooming is our love and winter never
seems to touch our fair skin.
I am afraid to wake up from this dream
so real. But to wake is to see you
asleep next to me. I thank god that
it was my heart that you decided to steal.

Nice poem, strange 'letter style' if you know what I mean but it worked beautifully, kudos :)
