Certainty

hello everyone~! :'D I haven't been here for ages and I missed this site. :P I haven't written in a while. Well, anyway. It's summer here, and I have absolutely nothing to do, which, of course, is killing me. xD
my birthday's coming up soon. >__> which you all did not need to know. :))

Anyway, attack as you please, loves. :'D

The heavy silence rings,
and its echo runs silent,
dancing through our ears,
like the faded glimpses of our past.

There goes an 'I love you'
and another 'I miss you'.
So now, what else is there?
What else is there to say?

Words stop, one by one,
their death in my throat.
A hundred thousand things to say,
but each one departs.

The heavy silence rings,
with the certainty of death
in the very depths of my soul,
if now, after everything, I lose you.

Your poem is so very sad RiLie. Are you referring to someone you love who is dying? I hope not. The thing you should tell yourself is that if you don't say, perhaps the kind things, whilst that person is alive, you will regret it all your life because you never get another chance. It was a very touching poem.

Hi RilLie,
Good to see you still occasionally pay us a visit :grin
A sad poem indeed. Strangely I didn't read it as someone dying, but rather as something about a break-up, with so many words being left unsaid. In either case, what Josie said is right.
