This is the first important chapter of the story. It includes superstition and a introduction of a new character.

The rain started and the wind was getting stronger. Christian is waving goodbye to a silver car until it was gone. She turns around and a graveyard entrance appeared in front of her. She stood still and can feel the wind blowing her away from the local graveyard. She enters and notice she is alone, she see many trees that looked dying and black crows in the grass looking for food. She stopped to a grave filled with cards and dying flowers. She lay her bag of wrap flower onto that grave and a black crow nearby watched her. She paused for a moment to recollect her thought until she hears a snapped stick from behind. She turns around and sees the back of a grey hooded person few metres from her walking away. She said, “Hello.” The stranger froze and she added, “Do I know you?” Christian was surprise when the stranger suddenly ran. She chased the stranger but her swollen ankle made her slower, she stopped when she felt severe heart pain. It stopped soon after she took aspirin from her handbag. She looked around and notices the stranger and the black crow has disappeared. She looked to the sky and it was brighter. At home, Christian is standing in the bedroom looking at the newspapers on her wall. She pauses for along moment before deciding to put it into her dustbin outside her house. She starts vacuuming the sitting room until she hears the doorbell ringing. She walks toward the front door and looks through the door hole. She sees a man in his 20s wearing a red hooded coat, he looked like a devil. She opens the door and said, “Hello.” The man reply, “Your alright, is Caroline around?” Christian can smell the alcohol in his breath and reply, “Caroline isn’t here. Who are you?” The man asked, “I’m Nick her mate. Where is she?” Christian answers, “She was in the tsunami” Nick asked, “What’s that?” Caroline was suspicious and stares at his eyes. Suddenly he push open the door and stormed into the sitting room yelling, “Caroline, where are you?” But there was no respond. Christian still standing near the front door said, “She is not here.” He looks back at her with aggression and Christian takes a step back. She can feel the man was going to hurt her but she had to do something. “I think it is wise you leave now young man!” said Christian. Nick jeered her and took his time walk out of the house. Christian closes the front door and looked through the door hole. She can see him leaving and she was relief. In a dark and mystery room Christian opened the curtain and the sunlight revealed a bedroom behind her. She opens the window and the wind blows a paperclip from a table onto the floor. She picks it up and returns it to the table, she looked at the table and notice it was dusty. She sat on the bed and it was cold. She started vacuuming the room until she hit and heard something from under the bed. She was curious and looked under the bed. It was one of the darkest places in the room. She stretches her hand under the bed and felt something cold and hard. She pulled it towards her and the sunlight revealed a small chest. She shakes it and heard noises inside. She couldn’t open the chest and looked around for a key, but she couldn’t see any. She remembers the paperclip on the table and picked it up. She put it through the keyhole; twists and turned until it was eventually open.
