Empty Thought

Empty Thought

Holding the sword of thought between my fingers,

Thoughts lingering between the mind and action,

Facing a wall as high as can see,

The sea of thought beyond the block,

But stuck on empty white paper like barren land,

Empty, devoid with no help around,

No thoughts of inspiration or inclination,

Or syndication of good ideas,

Merely a wall that leers and peers,

Asking to be climbed, to be overcome,

The sea of thought so far, so near,

So full of riches for the eyes and ears,

So far, so near yet untouchable from here,

This wall, my foe stops me now from all,

I think, I see but with no thoughts at all.

I have the same problem at present. The ideas are there but just won't jell. A well written statement of a condition I'm sure we all have at times. :? Cheers and best wishes.
