A haiku type verse but with the emphasis on human absurdity.

The bald man
Hunts high and low
For his comb

Like it! How about this reply, but clumsier and less absurd?

The dead man
Has no need to hunt
For his tomb

Just a silly thought!

Are we getting silly here or sillier? ha ha All good fun. Worse still is the woman who is always hunting for her glasses. (Oh what an affliction when you need glasses).

ah, most interesting, Grasshopper. Tell me more of the sayings of Confucius.

Senryu? I had to look it up. I love it. We should have more of these. Is this the saying of Confucius? Whatever. It's such wisdom. (But I noticed that men are very sensitive about their hair, even those who are least conscious of their appearance.)

Great stuff Mia - yes, I suppose men, eg like me are a bit over-sensitive, so I've grown a beard instead - at least there's not much competition from the ladies! Ha! Just for a last laugh before bedtime:

I have no hair
But I don't care
Cos that's how I was born

And when I'm dead
Laid out in bed
They'll shave me - I'll be shorn!

Ho! Ho! Keep up the banter . . . X

Katanga's comments reminded me that human beings are obsessed with hair - from those who have an abundance, to those who have none, to those somewhere inbetween. I mean this is a multi-billion dollar industry - from shampoos to oils to perms to hair transplants to hairdyes to wigs etc. Then there is the body hair - waxing, plucking, electrolysis, tinting etc... This is insanity.

Mia :eek - sorry, Ned, for going off on a tangent.
