Love is a Numbers Game

This is a small ditty - supposed to reflect the despair of 'on-off' relationships, where one likes the casualness and the other longs for permanence.

Dunno?

Our Calculating Love

You loved me once
You might love me twice
If I can give you three times more

But I am young and foolish
I can't calculate the score

I'll give you five
If we can survive
But now I'm lost at four

Let alone six
I'm lost in the mix
Of all we've suffered before

I would give you seven
To go to Heaven
But I just don't add up anymore

Nice idea and in spite of the sad idea behind it it seemed a funny read. I can get it if people make up after one break-up, but after two they should begin to doubt and after more than two they can be certain that they should look for someone else, but then that's only my opinion...
