| Poem Construction Kit | |

I just threw this together for a bit of fun, not sure if it floats. I found an old poem construction kit, beneath an anthology of crime. 'One Verse, arial point twelve' ; the cover - a clown, (not sure why). The contents are listed as follows: enjambments - eleven; caesuras - five; a subtle allusion (that seems to be missing); words or pieces - one hundred and nine (one internal rhyme). Inside, also, a metre rule: a strange, archaic device, that I can't seem to work without twisting things round, though... I'm unsure I'm using it right. Completed, the poem looks proud of itself, but it leans a bit to one side - and, disconcertingly , three pieces remain, at the bottom of the bag.
