I wrote this poem for school because my teacher wanted me to write a poem about an interesting bird. We have a visitor in our roof. We didn't invite him to stay. He just flew in and made a nest On a windy, stormy day. He's rather plump But not very big. He settles down In his nest made of twigs. Tasty bugs Are his favourite food They put him in A really good mood. Our visitor has a feather coat A cute little tail and a stubby beak We don't know how long he is staying But he's been in our roof for more than a week. Our visitors name is House sparrow.
