I wrote this for someone who didn't have the guts!

If you see a girl at work who makes your heart beat skip,

Then tell her what she does to you and tell her really quick,

That spark she has, that sex appeal, it's there for all to see,

For every man that notices, there are another three,

Don't waste your time in pondering if you have got the nerve

The braver man in front of you will get what you deserve

And while you sit at home at night and weave her in your dream

That other man's on top of her and licking off the cream

Very well put - wonderful last two lines!

What's that saying -'Faint heart ne'er won fair lady.' or something like that.

Easier said than done though, as I too often found to my cost in my faint-hearted youth.

Cheers! John

Paula, you have a wonderful talent. That final line has me giggling like an idiot.

Cheers

Hopefully he reads it?

I think you're right, but... Just as most women want a guy with the self-confidence to take action, some men (like me) won't settle for less than a woman with similar confidence. Let them hunt and I shall choose... Let's hope your man is less demanding in that respect.

Enjoyed PP. Probably very good advice - that I never followed when it may ave mattered - and now it's become redundant. I may pass it on to my older son. (19)

a very old Oz joke on this topic -- but far too raunchy to tell here -- and it would be spoiled if Bowdlerized .

Well written !
