Returning from a hard day’s whaling, the crew like nothing better than a slap up meal.





    24) Chicken claws in Black Bean Sauce

    27) Bamboo shoots and noodles

    18) Spicy goose wing, deep fried horse

    32) Panda steaks and poodle

    00) Anything goes in old Beijing.

I have to confess to asking myself what some people won't eat. I guess its all grist to the cultural mill.

Sounds yum, except for Panda and Poodle, only because I see them as cute animals, and Poodle as a pet. Some cultures wonder how anyone can eat cuddly lambs, but they have no problem wiht eating dogs. Yep, there is nothing humans won't eat on the planet.
