This is my first poetry post - not to be taken seriously.
As a disclaimer I must add that it's not really mine. It's the instructions on the top of a new set of toilets installed in my workplace. I suspect the instructions were written by someone whose first language was not English. The punctuation and capitalization is exactly as found, and 'Read This' was printed as a heading.
I think it sounds either like a Japanese haiku (albeit with the wrong number of syllables) or like theatrical blank verse.
Here goes....
Before removing cistern lid
Take care when lifting lid
As the push button is already
Attached to the mechanism.|
