Title's a lil pretentious I know, but we can all have our fun once in a while?

Night falls like a lilac curtain,
low sun and deep cloud
create a bruise that will not fade

'til morning, when the dawn
will turn it grey, green, yellow.

It is, then, by night we touch,
test the sorespot with caresses
meant to soothe. But passion

finds a way to leave marks
to see us through the day.

... very much . Won't comment on the break before the last stanza , as it would just annoy you !

But it is a neat bit of work
