Periodically , what with everything they take in,

people have a build up

of literary matter

and artistic fluids.

This has to be expelled

or you’d die

or explode

in a messy shower of

pronouns, adjectives, apostrophes and puns

and,

well, thing is,

you can’t just do it anywhere

can you?

So you do it

here.

Communally.

Where intelligent, creative and

articulate individuals gather

to expel and express.

Aaaah, that’s better,

they sigh.

Better out

than in.

Phew.

Sometimes they even

poke about in other

people’s expulsions.

They delve

and leave comments.

So why not just open the sluice gates of your imagination

and let it all go.

But I’d give it five minutes

if I were you.

Well, actually, I imagine much of our writings as being the sighs of angels, myself.

I prefer to think of this site as a sewer :- what you get out of it depends on what you put into it. Or is that what you were getting at anyway?

Actually I enjoy looking into the minds and lives of the faceless but real people on GW. It's interesting to me what they are thinking about, what interests them, what is troubling them, what's happening in their lives etc etc, both in the posted pieces and in the reviews. Maybe that is not a proper motive to review??? Hmmm...
Mia :p

Sometimes it’s “sighs of angels” I suppose, other times it’s like a brand new baby, others it’s simply better out than in.
