In the presence

Your feedback is much appreciated.  Trying to get better at this.

The tipping of a hat,
The point is to recognize.
A shrug of the shoulders,
when trying not to chastise.

A finger held to the lips,
Hold your wagging tongue!
Prancing, gasping, cursing,
In the garden where you were stung.

A light touch on the arm,
As sad eyes look on.
Laughing out loud
At the obvious con.

Wide eyes and mouth,
As the surprise is made known.
Pink blush of the face
As your folly is shown.

A sideways glance
That is shot your way
The wry half-smile
Taunting you to play.

A wink of the eye
Is just between us.
Throwing hands in the air,
What is all the fuss?

A tender kiss on the neck
Is enough to make you sway.
All the words in the world
Just get in the way.

Such delicious ideas
Words can make you taste.
But may it never be
Where your presence is replaced.

I think there are some very fine lines here:

"All the words in the world
Just get in the way."

And the final stanza is wonderful.

Cheers
