The Slug and the Worm
By Mr_E_Writer

Kids and their strange yet enquiring minds.

A minibeast happening and a true story.

.

It was on a damp spring morning
On a damp spring garden path,
That little Susie spied a sight
   That made her tummy turn.
She shied away and turned to me
   With furrowed brow to ask,
Dearest dad, why would a slug
Want to kiss a slimy worm?

Ha! Like it. I have a photo of a snail on a frog's back - weird! Slime attracts slime?

I think your poem deserves to be expanded.

The romance of the Slug and the Worm?!

Cheers!
