Broken Smiles
By Emmuttmax
22 May 2008
An example of what can happen when you snort too much dog hair.

Broken Smiles

You waltzed in the presence of kings
With an herbalist on your arm
He was your champion in a deck chair
Who wore exotic neckwear
And he smiled like a figurine

When you wiggled past the butlers
With desire in your eyes
They all inspected you
And then rejected you
As they smiled like figurines

You rode lizards to the bonfire
When the neon war was over
The people sought you
But when they caught you
They broke you like a figurine

I see this as someone is having a drug-induced vision. The figurine theme seems to say it is an artificial experience with articifical characters. The final line seems to say drugs are no friends. Well, that's my interpretation. It's strangely moving, seen that way.
