The idea of wire
Is lately keeping me up late.
Twisting, shaping, placing it
In fire.
Waiting. Taking
With irrelevant unfeeling hands
The cherry-glowing brand
An unforgiving word
Too choked on to be heard
In disbelieving slut-whore
Courts of law.
Against your worthless skin I press
With a satisfying hiss
A rough justice kiss
A brand impossible to miss.
You made me a statistic
At the mercy of sadistic
Fucks like you
Guess what
Now I'm sadistic too.
I lie awake
And dream of scarlet scars
Advertising what you are.
This ruby accusation
Will be my only reparation
For everything you took from me:
A sad and twisted victory.
One indelible and scorching word
Will not pay the debts incurred
But its harsh encarmined letters
Might make me feel a little better
When I see them branded on your chest
Where the wire was pressed.
I might get some rest.

Can't really comment on it as a poem as i don't do poetry but there is definitely a lot of dark emotions involved in this.

I truly hope this is not based on a personal experience.

I do like the righteous anger and thoughts of revenge - always good subject matter for a writer.

Particularly liked the line "A rough justice kiss"
