Aeroplane Trails
By Katanga

Yeah, well.

This is a late-night whimsy.

I was drawn by a Great North Wind (Stevie Nicks - Sara - Fleetwood Mac?)

Cheers!

Aeroplane Trails

Do you ever stare
At angels’ hair
That weaves
Across the sky

Three hundred odd people
Pull each strand
Do you stop
To wonder why

They search
For destinations
Beyond
Their wildest dreams

When they finally
Get there
Life is not really
What it seems

I have travelled
Far and wide
Mostly
 In my head

I have seen
The Gallapagos
Dreaming
In my bed

I don’t want to go
Anywhere
That takes me
Away from you

You give me Life
And that itself
Is more rich than
Xanadu
