MIND WENT BLANK
By JohnnyD
26 May 2008
If someone would have told me earlier
I would have never believed it so
There is always the first time
And it happened to me just recently

Yes, my mind went blank
When I lost my Mamman
Sleepless night, lost appetite
Perplexed, not knowing what to do next
My mind went blank
As thoughts ceased to flow
In the busy world of my mind

Yes, Johnny. I know the experience. When my mother had a horrific accident, I would go to do my shopping and arrive at the checkout and not remember having walked round. I would wake up in the morning and feel it had just been a dream. You are quite normal. This does go, bit by bit and life goes on. We all know this terrible experience. It is called "shock". Best wishes.
