| My Shed | |

It has been said that everyman should have a shed - I wonder. For me its a must. Every man should have a shed, A private place to go. Somewhere to work or play; Which? No one need know. Come right on in to my shed, That's where I like to be, Doing little fix-it jobs For Lis - some friends - or me. I fix the things from in the house That break from wear and tear. I store all my garden tools, 'Cause I can find them there. I take my time for now i'm old, I do things so much slower. And really, much too often I have to fix that cranky mower. There is no door upon my shed, Just a great big open space, So I can sit in a comfy chair And feel the sun on my face. There's another chair, and a box or two,; So join me if you wish. There's no water in the river, So the talk won't be of fish. I love the life of a farmer; There is always work to do; But then, there's time to stop And have a yarn with you.;
