I've am reading the Stephen Fry book, and for me will take quite a few reads to understand and fully sink in awakenedmind aka Michael Depression sits like a big stone weight Around your neck just waiting to break You sometimes feel anguish and then it goes
And you get a glimpse of where to go
As within your head there is a reservoir Full of emotion and ready to burst But always held back by a fear much worse
But also within are full of confusion Of what people say sometimes about you All of which is never true
As you soldier on within the affray A battle to fight, a solution to find But no, just another mixed up mind
The demons within have failed to break through Emotionally tired and physically sick As you wait for the next depression to break
Even harder to explain to those out there So we struggle on and some get weaker Then we help to make it easier
With smiles aplenty and not much time A smile directed in just the right place From your heart within and not just your face
Is just the tonic to stop me feeling blue I love to talk and be with you And never ever then to feel blue.
