WHITE KNIGHT
By meadowcroft1964

True love
I did believe
Was for me not to be

Black pain
Was mine to bare
Others would not share

White knight
On charger came
To rescue me his aim

With lance
Held out thrust
To battle my mistrust

To love
So sweet and tender
Two hearts do surrender

Lovely little poem Violet, beautifully expressed. White knights do come to those who need them, only people are quite surprised to see that they can be just ordinary people offering love. We don't always recognize them for the white knights that they are deep inside.

You have a gentle and tenderly simple way of of expressing very deep emotion.
