Police Arrest Costumed Vigilante
By stevetroster
08 June 2008

Yesterday evening, Gotham City Police attended the manor house of millionaire playboy Bruce Wayne (A.K.A. Batman) and arrested a Ms Harriet Harman - who had climbed onto the roof of Wayne Manor dressed as a politician.
“We weren’t fooled by her disguise,” said Commissioner Gordon.

This is just the latest in a long line of high profile incidents - in which the world’s costumed heroes have been deliberately targeted for the purpose of gaining media attention - and analysts suggest that these vigilante episodes will continue until such a time as the judicial system adopts a hard line.
Meanwhile, stalwart public citizens such as Spiderman, Green Lantern and Spawn are being forced to adopt secret identities.

It was in August 2008 that (un)masked terrorist Gordon Brown hijacked mild-mannered Daily Planet reporter Clark Kent and forced him to fly to Saudi Arabia in protest of the plummeting cost of crude oil.

I don't think anyone else was fooled either, quite frankly. Was it the way she wore her bra on the outside that gave her away?
We've got a Gotham here in Notts. I'll keep a lookout for her
suitably bizzare.

So no need for a stab vest in Gotham, then. Clearly far safer than the streets of Peckham, her own constituency, where we now discover she refuses to live. Nice surreal stunt, Steve - was it funded by David Abrahams?

I agree, it is high time people like this Ms Harman were brought to book for passing themselves off as politicians.
Nice `turn it on its face` piece Steve.

As above - a good 'turn it on its head' piece.

“We weren’t fooled by her disguise,” said Commissioner Gordon. - nice.
