Apologies, but we do seem to be recycling childhood nursery rhymes so why shouldn't I join in? This was a rhyme (SUNG!) that went with a fast and complex 2-person clapping game at my primary school ... I have but filled in the blanks where memory fails. Mary had a baby She called it Sunny Jim She threw it down the lavat'ry To see if it could swim It swam down to the bottom And swam back to the top And as it floated up to her She grabbed it by the Cocktails, whisky, Seven pence a glass If you eat too much at night It comes out through your Ask no questions Tell no lies I saw a p'liceman Doing up his Flies are nuisance Fleas are worse That is the end of My smutty verse.
