It all adds up.

It all adds up,
Either weighs you down
Or lifts you up.

When I look at the world...
I see fear,
I see hate.

As a teenager I see...
How comical life is,
How amusing misery is.

As a kid I saw...
The wonders of the world,
The promise of adventures in the back yard.

As a lover I look for...
The twinkle in my love's eyes,
The crooked smile of his delights.

As a Human I feel...
The frustration of compassion,
The toll of emotions.

As a sinner I fear...
God's eyes always watching,
Angels' heads always shaking.

As a child I hate...
My parents ideals,
My siblings quarrels.

As a Friend I have to...
Protect my buds,
To jump in front buses to save their lives.

As a enemy I must...
Correct their wrongs,
To start the fights.

As a outcast I live up...
To the rumors of Satan,
The gossip of witch craft.

As a person I am...
Pretty Normal,
I am not a wicked witch but a nice bitch.

As a girl I am...
Pretty or ugly,
Depends on who you ask.

As a artist I see...
The beautiful out the uglies,
The perfection of the imperfect.

As a loner I heard...
The cries of the fake,
The pleas of the ignored.

When I look at myself...
I see a girl with bright green eyes,
I see a girl throwing it all away.
