Into bed now, time to sleep,
off with the light, don't make a peep.
Mommy and daddy are just downstairs,
drinking with strangers, no one cares.
Don't put your foot down on the floor,
big black snakes, wait by the door.
enjoy the pinch, when bed bugs bite,
Uncle Fester will snuggle you tight. :) |

A good poem I especially enjoyed the 'enjoy the pinch, when bed bugs bite' bit - that works really well

Goddess is a teenager and if teenagers like your writing, then we all do. I would have been frightened to have spoken of big black snakes by the door because smaller children would be frightened. I know my little granddaughter would be aged almost 4 - but you must wait for 5 year old Nathan. His opinion is always valuable on this side of Great Writing. Mia - are you there? |

But this brings back fond memories. I used to work with a man who looked like Uncle Fester. We called him Uncle Fester. He lost all his hair (including eyebrows and eyelashes) due to some stress, and never got them back.
