What I found was nothing but words
And a made up truth |

Keith | Written by mia_ms_kim (1019 comments posted) 17th June 2008 | I feel this piece is about despair or cynicism, maybe both??? I've read that in some languages, eg. Hebrew, the word 'truth' is same as 'reality'. It implies authenticity, honesty, transparency etc. So truth must be more than words. Ie. the messenger must be as true as the message he/she communicates, or it's not the truth. Thus the messenger is part of the message, or it is false. The phrase 'a made up truth' made me sad. It seems to imply we now must look for 'true' truth as opposed to 'false' truth. It's so sad when the word 'truth' itself has been compromised. I wonder if words only reveal and reflect the condition of their users. Mia |
