I would say this is tongue in cheek, but under those circumstances I'd probably bite it off. And before anybody asks, I don't have any skin decorations.

very good, very clever. Haiku's can tell a story in just a few short words. I have lots of them all over notebooks - I use them as musings when I have a block!

strictly this is a senryu, which is not restricted to nature topics like the haiku but can speak of human conditions and actions. They do have the same structure, though rhyme is unusual for either form. I use them as sketchpads - capturing odd little flashes of what I like to think might be genius, but am told is just scribbling!

I hope I was supposed to snigger - I did. 
 
As I've said before. Not a huge fan of the shortened form(s) - but this worked well for me.
