Write about...
By writerme

Writing creatively comes in spurts and usually at 2 or 3 a.m. it hits me or when my feelings are too many for me to grasp --- they end up on paper.  What I write about often is whatever pops in my head or sometimes a strand of reality from something in my subconscious and life.  I am always amazed sometimes when something comes out and then the direction it takes.  I love writing--just can't always get it onto  paper.

writing and thinking
drinking
sorting the chambers of my mind
killing time

should it be about love
or the stars above
the cries of the night
wrongs made right

mountains with green trees
flowers and honey bees
new life
a husband and wife

young love as a teen
things that remain to be seen
wild women and drinking
too much thinking

by now you can clearly see
I'm trying not to write about me
while my mind is a clutter
my brain seems to have turn to butter

no tonight I won't try
but sometime before I die
I surely will do my best
to write one that tops the rest

I think many writers can sympathise with this! Well I know I can and I'm hardly a writer. help it or not a lot of what you write will come from what you feel, it's hard not to let that bit in. A good piece.
