Riddles of the Rainbow Nation

The rise and fall of a complex nation is at stake!

Reconciliation 1994 -2005.....

What has really changed?

From the killing fields to the playing fields?

From hate to crime?

From self-denial to self-pardon?

From political hunger to greed?

The colours of the rainbow?

Affirmative action to racial destruction?

From racism to tribal warfare?

Only the players and their games!

Interesting... each of these could almost be the first line of a poem in their own right. "From the killing fields to the playing fields" is particularly good and I'd love to see you explore this one further!

You are so right....
Each word we utter could mean the beginning of a new poem.
The down side being - "What happens when we run out of words"?
Will new poetry die?
Hope not

Isn't tribal warfare just racism? The last two lines it well together. I'm beginning to wonder if there's any South African tribe (of any colour) which has not made war upon one of the others.
