Little Warren Buffett

This is a crude comment on the 'credit crunch' and the fall in house prices recently reported . . . A bit of late night fun?

Cheers!

Little Warren Buffett

Little Miss Muffet

sat on a tuffet

and wondered, "Why am I here?”

A long-legged spider

sat down beside her

and then it became quite clear

that all of her ills -

the thrills and the spills -

were the fault of Warren Buffett!

“Oh dear!” she thought,

“I really ought

to see if I can rough it!”

The spider you see

was most expertly

expounding Keynsian theory.

He gave her the essence

of his pubescence,

“Whatever will be, will be!

The market collapse -

a cyclical lapse -

means tuffets are more expensive

than ever before

the second world war . . .”

He fell quiet and rather pensive.

“Cripes!” said Miss Muffet,

“I shall just tough it

out and see what occurs!”

Wouldn’t you rather live

in a broken sieve

than swap your tuffet for hers?

I really love this. Only two places I doubled back with the light bulb flickering above my head, but I enjoyed this the whole way through. Je l'aime! :grin
Cheers Kate!

Hi Kate! (Kaydie?)

Thank you so much - I see you're fairly new and haven't posted any of your own work yet . . .

Go on - be brave!

Look forward to it . . .

Thanks again!
