On the Wings of the Dragonfly
By bobc
24 June 2008
Out my window

The Sun warms it's life
Freedom rules it's choices
Wings bring it direction
Nature sings it's voices

Flight erratic to some eyes
But true nature is so blessed
Vanquished clouds have no sway
With life it is obsessed

The Dragonfly consumes a meal
Then moves to flight again
'til the light of life fades with time
And no paths of want remain
