Sweet Fate, Blind love.

All about how sometimes love is blind and it's usually this love that ends up hurting the worst.  Hopefully have put to use my knowledge of what Stephen Fry has said about emjambments, etc.  Please critque if I haven't!  Thank you.

I pray, sweet love, please do not make me blind.
How can I know love if I cannot see?
Smell and touch alone will not help me find
A love that is true and honest and free.

Blinded love strips away all innocence,
Puts thorns on roses never there before.
Creates bitter hearts in great abundance,
Undoing all fairytales by the score.

Real love is open and equal and fair.
You can see real love in your sweetheart' eyes.
Real love is unconditionally there,
Bringing no pain or hurt nor any lies.

Have mercy sweet fate and take on loves plight.
Please kindly leave me with my sense of sight.
