In response to Josie's smell-in-the-corner poem.
It’s a terrible fact
that Jack Horner lacked

Oh Superb! Written by Katanga (1229 comments posted) 24th June 2008 | Whaaaaarh! (just to quote you, misspelt, from a previous, FP). Ah, Coming or Going - do you know 'The diary of a nobody'? The two MCs are called 'Coming' and 'Going' . . . Very much 'Three Men in a Boat' type of 'tragi-humour'. The best, like the film 'Withnail and I' Oh dear, I'm chortling terribly and off to review whatever tickles my fancy! Chortle chortle . . . John X | Written by fellpony (1616 comments posted) 24th June 2008 | | Ah, yes, George and Weedon Grossmith ... Written in 1892 . . . Gosh! Human nature doesn't change, eh? Ha! Ha! Ha! Yo! In my dreams I am going on a seven-mile trip, up and down gentle hills (like you, today?) in a chariot pulled by your swiftest fell pony . . . . Whoooooer! The nearest I've come to that sort of experience is motorbike racing - but that's another story! Yo! John X | Dear John Written by fellpony (1616 comments posted) 24th June 2008 | I have never been compared to a gentle hill before, so thank you I did indeed go driving today as you imagined - or was that you in the microlight? | Dear Fellpony! Written by Katanga (1229 comments posted) 24th June 2008 | I'm not . . . (what's the word?) . . . nee- noo nee- noo. Somewhere else on this site, while I was reviewing, I saw you say you had just come back from a seven-mile journey in your 'chariot' - I was, and am still, impressed! Where was I? Ah yes! I wish, in my dreams, to fly in a microlight over your soft hills . . . Good lord - I feel a poem coming on! Beware! Oh Ho ho! Love and respect! KYJ X |
