I'm all out of film and refuse to go digital.

     When mummy needed money
     she would bring an uncle home,
     but all their talk of love was phoney;
     no roads led to Rome.
         At night I’d lie beneath the moon
     and listen to her weeping,
     at night I’d lie beneath the stars
     while mummy wept alone.

Another wee gem, Steve! I like this series of yours.

'she would bring an uncle home' - innocence meets seediness! Lovely.

Cheers

Hello. I enjoyed all four of these but #3 was my favourite. A sad little story.

Cheers,
Eric.

Amusing little vignette - enjoyable like most of your postings, Steve.
