I look up to you in five seconds
By wt
25 June 2008

the more the merrier.
sleep child
for one more night will bring hope
where hope was a flower
scented , sweet
home to the senses where
death, is a diseased spirit
that haunts your smile

like a mirror you are a reflection
of their souls
as they, mundane,
not enough to describe their bond
and, once more
the gutter like a river flows

This is such a sweet little poem and I really love it!

More please!

Cheers!

I feel like there could be something here if you focused on one simile/metaphor rather than cramming so many into so small a space.
