The gift of a child's smile

The mother turtle
calls her baby out
let's go look
and search about

And find a thing
We both can share
A smile is what we find today
Our smile shows the world we care

I can just see this in a small thick cardboard book for toddlers!
Thanks, briarcroft

I'm not sure of the words, but a good illustrater could have a grand time with the pictures to make a toddler smile.
Lovely!

Beautifully simple and sweet - it brings a lump to my throat and makes me feel about three-and-a-half years old again!

Agree about the illustrator.

Cheers!
