Making Noises

It is amazing what children hear.

Making noises can be fun
Dogs and cats are fun to do
Birds that chirp, mice that sqeak
Cows and chickens and horses too

Wheels that creak as they go 'round
Footsteps as they hit the ground
Airplanes flying way up high
Cars that zoom as they go by
Frogs and lions and elephants
Is there a noise made by ants?

This is a good poem that will stimulate children to think what noises there are. Equally good is the poem by Bonbon, on the next page I think about Silence. (I think that is the name of the poem. Please check).

Excellent. I think you should develop this style.
