Skate That! (Prologue)
By prodigy
02 July 2008
Skate That! is a book I wanted to write for a long time.

It's about a boy who's learning skateboarding and what happens when he is accidently registered for one of the biggest skateboarding  tournaments  in town.

This book is for those skate enthusiasts who are just learning and know how hard it is.

ENJOY (I hope you do)!!

Cool

The Eastside Seven Mall, New Seven Road, Seal.

Max Seven, Age 12, Wannabe Skateboarder,
  Balance - 0.001

  CRASH!!
  'Whoa!'

  CRASH!
  'Owwww!'

  CRASH!
'Not again! Aww man, this is bad . . '

Max was trying out a skateboarding for the first time at a mall, and as you might have noticed, he isn't exactly Tony Hawk.

 CRASH!
 'I'm in trouble . . .'

He ran away from the mess as fast as he could, hoping no-one had seen him. He had a skateboard in his hand.
He spotted his mother -
Here goes, 1, 2, 3!

'PLEASE,please, please can I have it????? PLEASE!!! I've always wanted a board!'

 'Hmm?'

'PLEASE???PLEASE?? I promise I won't stop using it after a week like every other toy.'

 'Fine, but . . '

 'COOL!! Wheee! Bye, mom.'

 CRASH!!!!

 'Uh Oh.'

    No.13, StrawGrass Road, Western Seal.

Max was practising on the footpath, not knowing how many people actually shifted on to the road seeing him.
Hey!
He saw another skateboarder up ahead.
 He called out to him.
'Hi!'

His life was about to change forever.
