The fun is over..... The joy did not last..... Only the shopkeepers made the killing to last! Xmas 2005 has come and went. Leaving my bank balance with a dent. Papers and receipts on the floor. Presents and money out of the front door. Now I know why Santa wears red and white. To come and steal your assets through the chimney at night! Xmas is very commercialised. Why does it not leave any of us surprised? 27 Dec 2005 ;-( |

| Stolen Dreams Written by Rattle_Spear (93 comments posted) 30th December 2005 | twriter Thanks for the response. I may have stolen some joy, but, who has really stolen the profits? Who wants to do away with Christmas? Have a fab New Year & give us more of your writing in 2006. | Written by amboline (183 comments posted) 3rd January 2006 | | Oh dear... sorry but there is simply no excuse for a grammatical howler like "has come and went" if it's used just to force words into a rhyme scheme. | A known fact Written by Rattle_Spear (93 comments posted) 3rd January 2006 | So true again. It reminds me of last years salary..... "It came and was spent!" I just hope that love can sustain us. o o o |
