Sounds

16 July 2008
It was a noisey day outside my apartment

I heard the buzzing motorcycle
 turn the corner fast
A screaming voice sounded
 it's end at last
The dogs on the street crooned
 at bicycle's flight
The kids playing ball
raised the din of a fight
Birds screamed "I am here"
 to all that could hear
A couple shouted obsenities
 boldsterous and clear
I opened my window
 for breezes and scents
What I got, though
  was not Heaven sent
