Curled up in a ball and lying naked on a bed—
The scent of him still has its arms around me;—
A silken smile and a new light of the eyes
Reveal the emotions boiling up from inside.

There is a fear that dreams of being pushed away,
A persistent calm that breathes new life;
This dare, this trust, this longing held back
Silently weaves through what this mind lacked.

Wish upon a star in a world with no dark,
Yet maybe true luck has finally come:
Persistent hope, fringed with doubt, I embrace,
If only my look, mirrored, forms on his face.
