I don't feel that this is finished by along shot.

Thought feedback would be good.

Cheers.

Unfair Dream

Do you ever get the feeling that we’re living inside of a dream
Where the rules are forever changing but never to our advantage?
The powers that be are so distant it’s difficult to imagine they exist at all.
It’s only when you look at other people do you realise they act strangely;
Tweaked into an un-natural stance set by the strings of those above us.

I sometimes feel pity for the ones that try to liberate themselves from the puppet-masters,
Only to find that they hadn’t thought before and that they’d need to think again; -
Seems like they’ve forgotten how;
They faint from life, hopeless and  lame.

I look at these people and wonder how it is they managed to get so old - so far through life -
Without ever collecting a few facts about a situation; without turning these facts
over  in their very own heads;
Without ever reaching a logical conclusion and not being told the answer first.
Almost every decision the people make is based on propaganda and fear.

I wish the people would look at one another once in a while;
They might see something more familiar than the distant demi-gods we’re
Supposed to believe in.
